MY STORY
Okay, call me old-fashioned. But when it comes to real estate, I don’t think anything can beat the character, charm, and long-term value bet of a well-maintained historic home.
I’m Johnny Sweet, Arizona-based REALTOR and historic house enthusiast. If you’re considering moving into (or out of) an old house, I’d love to roll up my sleeves and go on the journey with you.
Since 2012, my wife and I have experienced just about every type of historic property Phoenix has to offer. We’ve lived in five different historic districts (did you know there are 35?), launched a non-profit out of one of the city’s oldest and most iconic church buildings, and have been involved in several large-scale restoration projects. And along the way, we’ve become historic house enthusiasts. We’ve renovated them, flipped them, and most importantly, lived in them!
This 1940’s ranch ignited our passion for old houses.

Through countless games of tag on creaky wood floors and mornings spent watching dog-walkers pass by through wavy-glass windows, we’ve found something beautiful and profoundly peaceful about living in places that have been around long before us and will continue long after us. If I could talk even a few people into this romanticized (but quite real) version of modern house-dwelling, I’d consider it a mission accomplished.
My passion for historic homes comes from the rich and lasting memories my family has been able to create in them. And as a full-time REALTOR based in Central Phoenix, I can offer you the same thing, regardless of what you’re looking for in a house. I can be your gateway to deeper memories with your family.
